Yesterday, November 15, the world celebrates Steve Irwin Day in the memory of the wildlife warrior.
In Australia, Steve Irwin's widow, Terri, has asked fans to wear his trademark khaki clothes and thousands of Steve Irwin admirers joined singer Olivia Newton-John and Jimmy Barnes for a special tribute day at Australia Zoo.
Steve Irwin believed in promoting and protecting wildlife and wild places. His enthusiasm and love for wildlife was always evident and his strong conservation messages were always centre stage.
Being a Steve Irwin follower I always watched every wildlife documentaries especially the last documentary made by wild warrior before his death ," Ocean's Deadliest.
On the other hand, in Wellington, A four years-old Steve Irvin fan Sophie Lemon,spent four hours cleaning up Lyall Bay beach as part of a fund raising projects for Irwin's wildlife Warriors Worldwide fund.
The world definitely missed Steve Irwin but we will remember him as the Wild Warrior who provide information and educations to the publics and raise awareness in the protection of injuried, threatened or endanger wildlife.
Steve was killed aged 44 last year, during a freak accident when a stingray barb pierced his heart as he was filming an underwater documentary on the Great Barrier Reef in northern Australia.
