Yesterday, my eldest son wearing a beads necklace with different colors such as orange and yellow. I asked him, "Where did you get that? and He reply, "at school, my teacher asked us to create a necklace using different kind of beads as part of our lesson".
I'm glad my son is having fun at school and also being creative. I remember the campaign,"Wear a bravery bead to support children with cancer", by Child Cancer Foundation.
Bravery Beads is a programme designed to support and strengthen the protective resources of children coping with childhood cancer. And uses different coloured beads to visually acknowledge the courage of children with cancer as they undergo often painful and distressing procedures and treatments.
