The Able Miss Red Lips is her Autumn/Winter 2008 collection.

The Collection is for the funky urbanite that is expected to be everything to everyone – and delivers.

She said, the Able Miss Red Lips is for the modern woman who obtains success on her own terms.

The collection was inspired by a definition of the word “able” that describes a person that has necessary power, skills, resources, qualifications and knowledge.

Tailored jackets and sumptuous high waisted skirts echo the Glamorous fifties, tulip-hem skirts and flowing dresses whisper tales of wistful romanticism, contoured camisoles provide an urban edge and voluminous sleeves billow from cinched at the waist dresses and exquisitely draped tops.

Elegant slipper-satin cocktail dresses hold the promise of dressing up, supper-club style - while confident coats with subtle military detailing and understated sixties styling shun the elements.

A poised palette is punctuated with stunning silver and shots of ruby red as bold and assertive as the sexy, dynamic Hitchcock-heroine pout that inspired it.

This season sees a lot of silk/wool jersey featuring patterns designed exclusively by Andrea Moore.

“It’s a flattering fabric that flows and drapes beautifully on a woman’s body, providing ease of movement,” says Andrea. “Apparently this fabric comes from the same mill that does all of Marc Jacobs’ silks.”

So whether you’re attending the latest gallery opening, hosting a cocktail party or simply kicking butt at work, you’ll fuse sophisticated glamour with red-hot fashion wearing The Able Miss Red Lips from Andrea Moore.
