Dad, I got my own Calendar!!

THIRTY-TWO days to go to Year 2008. This is the second time around that I'm celebrating New Year's away from my family and friends in the Philippines.

In New Zealand, New year's celebrations is just like ordinary day unlike in the Philippines starting from 11pm on October 31 till midnight you'll see fireworks display ,musical events are happening in Metro Manila among another's.

Maybe,my son Michael Ivan also miss that kind of celebrations because I was surprised with his drawing for their own 2008 calendar.

The calendar cost $10.00 which my son's sketch are place in front of the calendar. The drawing are representing my family in the Philippines that we left behind and we are missing them right now especially during Christmas and New year's.

For us, Family are very important as much as possible if we have time we will spend our time for a whole day of fun with other family members.
