On Friday morning, Bottega Rotolo invited me for the Biggest morning tea to help Cancer Council raise vital funds for cancer prevention, research and support services.
The event started at 10am but me and my daughter arrived at around 9:30am, went to Bottega Rotolo Norwood retail branch a bit early because I want to captured the preparation for this wonderful event. The staff are very friendly and the food is amazing. You can check the photos at aMikothing blog
Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is one of Australia’s largest national participation events and a fundraising flagship for the Cancer Council. Held throughout May the concept is simple, Australians host a morning tea to raise funds to support the fight against all cancers.
Last year over 35,000 households, workplaces and schools raised a cup to help beat cancer with over one million Australians coming together across the country to raise funds for Cancer Council and help reduce the impact of cancer on all Australians.
This year Cancer Council aims to recruit 36,000 generous morning tea hosts nationally to support Cancer Council’s life-saving work into prevention programs, world class research and support services (like the Cancer Council Helpline 13 11 20) for all people affected by cancer.
To help the Cancer Council get the $13 million target, you can host a morning tea and for more information . Please check www.biggestmorningtea.com.au.
So let 's raise our cups and together we'll beat cancer!!
