A week ago, Commonwealth Bank Darwin Branch invited me and other small and medium business around the Northern Territory to meet LEO.
The future of point of sale payment. It’s a compact, smart case device that turns an Apple iPhone 4 or iPhone 4s into a mobile and secure merchant terminal, so you can accept business payments anywhere.
The presentation last for an hour with a slideshow and Q & A forum regarding the latest technology and how the Commbank can help Small and Medium business with LEO.
According to them, by using Leo device means you can get paid instantly and securely anywhere. Unlike other mobile phone terminal solutions, it accepts all types of transactions including swipe, EMV chip insert, contactless and PIN. It even lets you email customers their receipts.
They also added that Leo is one of the most secure mobile phone terminals available because it accepts EMV chip payments and has a fully functional PIN pad.
This means saves you from manually entering card numbers into your phone, and means your customer's details are better protected while the transaction is being processed.
Aside from that, Leo comes with a range of value-added payment solutions like tipping and split bills. It can even come with a built-in barcode reader for scanning items, coupons, barcodes and QR codes.
