Creative, innovation at NZ Fashion Week

New Zealand Fashion Week starts today with delegates and media from New Zealand and around the world coming to see more than 60 of our most innovative designers show and exhibit their collections across NZ Fashion Week and NZ Fashion Weekend.

Last year more than 30,000 people flocked to see runway shows, beauty and lifestyle seminars and to soak up the ambience and glamour of New Zealand Fashion Week. There are still some great seats left to Designer Selection shows and some exciting group and designer shows at NZ Fashion Weekend.

Here are a few places to check out if you want to get your friends together and see some pop up bars and sample some prestigious brands in a buzzing environment.

The Bombay Sapphire Bar on the ground floor will be showcasing its Spring/Summer ‘13 Collection at New Zealand Fashion Week. The collection has been created by cocktail genius Dickie Cullimore who has been inspired by New Zealand’s fresh and lively summer. The collection explores classic gin cocktails with a contemporary twist and is bursting with seasonal flavours.

If you like to support New Zealand winemakers you can sample our finest wines in the Tohu Lounge upstairs. And if you are the designated driver or believe that beauty starts from the inside out there is a free refill station for water bottles thanks to Brita in the Exhibition Showcase area.
