It was my first time to watched a football game last Friday at Westpac Stadium between Wellington Phoenix and Sydney FC with my son Ivan, who is a football fanatic at the young age of 12.
More than 10,019 people watched the game which the Phoenix won 3-2 against Sydney in a dramatic Hyundai A- League elimination final.
It was a exciting game for almost 45 minutes, both team was scoreless but on the 47th minutes Phoenix team Captain TIm Brown scored broke the deadlock, the match came to a thrilling conclusion in a seven-minute burst that produced four goals, including a penalty from Paul Ifill that ultimately decided the contest.
For the entire game, the atmosphere is awesome and I enjoyed the game and I learned a lot about the football because of my eldest son, every time I asked a question regarding the game and my son would tell me the reasons.
All I can say, " Good luck to Wellington Phoenix"
