Wearable Arts Wander Part 1

As the Montana World of WearableArt Awards Show is gearing up for an another season. Last Monday, I already check  6 of 20 Supreme Award-winning garments from the WOW Museum collection in the streets of Wellington.

The Wellington City Council and WOW have brought back the Montana WearabelArt Wander for its second year. Since I don't have money to buy ticket ,cost about $115.

There are 16 location in Wellington City to see all Supreme WOW Award winners from the past 20 years.  I went first to  Wellington I-site which is located in Wakefield Street at the main entrance  you will  this picture above.

Second stop, a few meters away from Wellington I-Site  at the Wellington City Council building lobby area on the right side of the reception are you'll see the above photo.

After I take some photos and videos, next  is the Michael Fowler Centre also along Wakefield Street and I was amazed with this two chairs and below is the 2008 Winner Montana Supreme WOW award and winner Air NZsth Pacific Section by Ornitho Maia, Nadine Jaggi, from Wellington,you'll see this garment at Te Papa Tongarewa along Cable Street.

And the Museum Hotel is  last stop I made and  2005 Montana Supreme WOW Award Winner, American Express Open Section Winner 'The Emperor's Entourage" from' Mike Ward of Nelson is located.

So, I still have 11 location to look after including : TSB Bank Arena in Queens Wharf, Museum of Wellington,Gen-I and Shell NZ in Jervois Quay, Untouched World and Holiday Inn Wellington in Featherston Street, Kirkcaldie & Stains, Borders Wellington and Air New Zealand Holidays all in Lambton Quay and InterContinental Wellington(Grey Street) and  Wellington Airport.


To recall, Now in its fifth year in Wellington, the Montana World of WearableArt Awards Show brings to life more than 160 garments in a theatrical extravaganza of music,drama,choreography ,lighting and comedy. The Shows start on Thursday 24 September and run until Sunday October 4.
