Signs in the Sky



Over 70 aircraft will be displayed over the two days of Wing Over Wairarapa representing a unique pictorial account of the history of aviation and which is celebrating its 10th anniversary of the Trust house Wings.


The will held on January 17 and 18 at Hood aerodrome. Masterton and will feature displays from aircraft never before seen in the country and promises a level of variety and historical significance to wow the most hardened aviation enthusiasts and other alike.



According to Liz Pollock, event manager, Wings Over Wairarapa will also feature displays from other rarely seen vintage aircraft,heart stopping agricultural displays,gliding,commercial and helicopter displays among others.


She also said, the event will also feature a wealth of entertainment on the ground as well as in the sky including:  A food and wine festival featuring some of the best of the regions wine and food, live music, feature races and children entertainment.







She said  a design Air show train service will run out of Wellington on both days of the show arriving prior to the air show and returning at the end of the day.
