I was attending a filipino gathering in Lower Hutt last Sunday and a group of young people who attend the recently concluded World Youth Day 2008 in Sydney, Australia gave us some souvenir from their journey.

I remember my WYD experiences as one of the 5 million delegates who attended the World Youth Day Celebration in Rizal Park while work as contributing writer of Manila Bulletin-Youth and Campus under Ivy Lisa Mendoza.

It was fun and hectic scheduled being a WYD participant and a freelance writer. So, I need to write stories about different activities of WYD from Ninoy Aquino Stadium to University of Santo Tomas and beating the deadline from my Editor. Hay! Grabe!!
