Last night was my first time to witness Guy Fawkes fireworks display with my family and friends.
The 150,000 dollars worth of fireworks go up in smoke in Wellington launched from two barges at exactly 9PM with more than 150,000 expectators .
As early as 7:30PM, we already at the Mt. Victoria Lookout for the best vantage point to watch the Pelorus Trust Sky Show fireworks display.
The 20 minutes display is worth waiting despite the cold wind at the Mt. Victoria Look out and by the way the above is from our friend Alan Raga

This is the 15th Wellington Sky Show for award-winning international fireworks maestro Robert McDermott.
To recall, Guy Fawkes Night is an annual celebration on the evening of 5 November. It marks the downfall of the Gunpowder Plot of 5 November 1605, in which a number of Catholic conspirators, including Guy Fawkes, attempted to blow up the Houses of Parliament, in London, United Kingdom.
