As the iD Fashion Week approaching the Southern Trust iD Fashion Week revealed today the new identity for the milestone event created by London-based freelance photographer Camille Sanson.
According to Susie Staley, chair of iD Fashion Commitee, This year is a milestone event and the new high fashion image reflects how iD Fashion Week has evolved into an international event.
She also said the week brings a positive focus to the city of Dunedin and the tenth anniversary celebrates a vibrant event that has been able to continue despite the current economic climate.
"The Southern Trust Emerging Designer Awards event supports new emerging international and New Zealand design talen. It provides an ideal opportunity for potentisl sponsors to support a growing international event,in turn securing the future viability of this unique event", Staley added.
On the other hand, Sanson said She love workinn on developing the images for iD Fashion Week.
"I really love working on developing the images for iD Fashion Week, as it allows me to be really creative in my approach. We wanted to bring through elements of tailoring and fashion design like the Zip from the image created last year, this time using the concept of embroidery and thread from the eyelashes. Luke Johnston from Brandaid developed idea of embroidering the logo with thread hanging down and I translated it into the image with make up artist Lan Nguyen and Stylist Svetlana Prodanic, based in London." She said.
The ticket for iD fashion Week go on sale Thursday 5 February,9AM through TicketDirect for the two key event of the iD Fashion Week with Pacific Blue travel prizes to be won.
